Andrei Konchalovsky is a Russian-American film director, producer and screenwriter. His various directorial ventures include The Boy and the Dove, Shy People and Ivan's Childhood for which he wrote the screenplay. He won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for The Odyssey.
