Andrew Timothy Birkin, is an English screenwriter, director, and actor. His wife, Judy Campbell was a yesteryear actress and one of the sisters`, Jane Birkin is an actress and singer. Birkin began his career in the film industry by working as a special effects artist and his first major work was when he supervised the shooting of the 1967 film, The Dawn of Man. After working as Assistant Director, Birkin later began writing scripts and some of his best works include The Pied Piper, Slade in Flame and Paramount.
