Andrij Parekh is a cinematographer of Ukrainian and Indian descent who is known for his works on movies like Blue Valentine (2010) and Madame Bovary (2014). After working on several commercials and music videos he made his big-screen debut as a cinematographer with Half Nelson (2006). His best work over the years include movies like Sonhos de Peixe (2006), The Favor (2007), Sugar (2008), Cold Souls (2009), Blue Valentine (2010), It`s Kind of a Funny Story (2010) and Mississippi Grind (2015). Parekh has also worked on TV shows like Show Me a Hero and 13 Reasons Why. He has worked with director Niki Caro on her movie The Zookeeper`s Wife (2017). The movie stars Jessica Chastain, Johan Heldenbergh and Daniel Bruhl. His 2018 project includes the war drama movie The Catcher Was a Spy.
