He is associated with films like Barnard Hunky Dory (2011), Citadel (2012), The Truth About Emanuel (2013), and The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box (2014). For the 2012 psychological horror film Citadel, Barnard took home the Best Actor award at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival.
