Anil Suri was an Indian film producer and director who predominantly worked in the Hindi film industry. He made his Bollywood debut as a producer with Raaj Tilak (1978) starring Raaj Kumar and Rekha. His next project Manzil (1979) directed by Basu Chatterjee was a box-office hit that featured Amitabh Bachchan and Moushumi Chatterjee in lead roles. He further bankrolled films like Karmayogi (1984) and Begunaah (1991), which also made his directorial debut. Anil Suri passed away in June 2020.
