Anirban Chakrabarti is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the Bengali film industry. After a 14 year career in academics, Chakrabarti decided to act on his passion for acting. He took it up as a full fledged profession in 2018. In a short span, Chakrabarti took up a vast array of roles in different movies. His credits include movies such as Phoring (2013), Meri Pyari Bindu (2017), Ghawre Baire Aaj (2019), Mitin Mashi (2019), Love Aaj Kaal porshu (2020) and Kakababur Protyaborton (2020). He has also worked in different web series like Krishanu Krishanu (2019), Laalbazar (2020), Case Jaundice (2020) and Feluda Pherot (2020). He is best known for playing the role of the detective Eken Babu in Hoichoi`s web series Eken Babu (2018 - Present).
