After a brief yet successful stint as a VJ with popular Tamil channels, Anish Padmanabhan took to acting by playing small roles in Malayalam and Tamil movies. Making his debut as one of the lead actors, Anish was seen in the 2018 silent film Mercury, which co-starred Prabhu Deva, Sananth Reddy, Deepak Paramesh, Shashank Purushotham, Indhuja, and Gajaraj.
