Anjaan was an Indian Lyricist and Music Director born on October 28, 1930 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh,famous for the song Khaike Paan Banaraswala.He made his debut as a Lyricist in film 'Prisoner Of Golconda' in 1953. Some of the films he has penned songs in are Jadui Anguthi (1964), Gunda (1969), Bandhan (1969) and Don (1978) with many others. He also came up with a book of poems written by him in 1997 named 'Ganga Tath Ka Banjara’.He passed away on September 13, 1997.
