Making his debut as a cinematographer in 2005 with the Tamil movie The Angrez, Anji is an Indian cinematographer who has worked in the Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil film industries. Since making his debut, Anji has worked on movies like Seetha Ramudu (2006), Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila (2006), Sathyabhama (2007), Sathu (2008), Odipolama (2009) Vallakottai (2010), Sattapadi Kutram (2011) Thambi Vettothi Sundaram (2011), Ueban (2013), Erra Bus (2014), Pokkiri Raja (2016), Jeyikkira Kuthira (2017), and PSV Garuda Vega (2017). Anji also worked with maverick director Ram Gopal Varma on movies like Ice Cream (2014), Ice Cream 2 (2014) and Attack (2016).

In 2018 Anji served as a cinematographer on director Vinay Krishna's action thriller, Seizer. The movie is Vinay Krishna's directorial debut and has Chiranjeevi Sarja, V. Ravichandran, Parul Yadav, Ramesh Bhat and Prakash Raj in important roles.
