A Bengali television and film actress, Ankita Majumder was first seen in the Bengali television show Amader Choto Nadi, which is the story of a five-year-old autistic girl Nadi and her relationship with her stepmother, played by Ankita. Making her foray into the film industry, Ankita was seen in the 2015 drama Auto No. 9696, which featured Arjun Chakraborty and Amrita Chattopadhyay in pivotal roles. Next, she was cast alongside Samadarshi Dutta and Anindya Banerjee in the 2017 Bengali drama Char Diker Galpo, which marked the directorial debut of Pranabesh Chandra. Her 2019 release includes Kolkatay Kohinoor.
