Ankita Nikrad is a young theatre practitioner from Pune Maharashtra. She has been working in theatre since last 6 years including her graduation in Marathi Natya-shastra from Pune University's Lalit Kala Kendra. While these several years she have worked in around 12 Marathi, Hindi Plays under prominent theatre directors like Alok Rajwade, Aniruddha Kutwad, Satish Manwar, Chinmay Kelkar, Pravin Bhole. She has performed in International Theatre Festivals like Theatre Olympics and IAPAR. She also has been screened in 6 short films as a lead and awarded as best actress in 'Asian Short film festival' and 'Shahu National short film festival'. And now she is working under ''Clowns Without Borders'' Sweden, who work for under privilege children world wide. Currently performing ''Shakuntalam - agar pura kar paaye toh '' a clown trio under direction of Mr. Rupesh Tillu.
