An actress in the Malayalam film industry, Ann Augustine made her silver screen debut with Elsamma Enna Aankutty for which she took home the Asianet Film Award for Best New Face. Following the success of her maiden film, she appeared in Arjunan Saakshi (2011), Vaadhyar (2012), and Rebecca Uthup Kizhakkemala (2013). Augustine’s breakthrough role came with the drama film Artist (2013), written and directed by Shyamaprasad. For her portrayal of Gayatri, a conservative Brahmin girl, the actress received the Kerala State Film Award and Filmfare Awards South for Best Actress. Her 2017 release includes the Malayalam language romantic thriller, Solo. Directed by Bijoy Nambiar, the movie stars Dino Morea and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, with Ann Augustine, Sai Tamhankar and Sruthi Hariharan in supporting roles.
