Annapurna is a popular Telugu actress who known for playing supporting roles as mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. Having started her career in the film industry with the blockbuster Swargam Narakam (1975), which won the Nandi Award for Best Film, the actress in her illustrious career spanning more than 40 years, the actress has worked in more than 90 films. Few of her most notable film credits include Mondi Ghatam (1982), Goonda (1984), Chaanakya Shapadham (1986), Appula Appa Rao (1991), Hello Brother (1994), Nuvve Kavali (2000), Arundhati (2009), Oka Laila Kosam (2014), A A (2016) and Baby Baga Busy (2017), which is directed by Naveen Goud Medaram.
