Anoop Mohandas is a Singer, Music Composer and Actor based in Trivandrum, Kerala. He trained in Hindustani classical music under renowned Hindustani vocalist Smt. Abhradita Banerjee. Popular as the lead vocalist of Trivandrum based folk electronic band Vidwan, Anoop has toured and performed in various music festivals across the country and also abroad. He is also a part of ASIMA, a male vocal and percussion ensemble, also based in Trivandrum. He has also travelled as a live musician with The Daksha Sheth Dance Company. He has sung/composed music for Njan Steve Lopez, Romans, Ottamurivelicham, Kammatipadam, Chattam. Besides singing Anoop is an actor (Theatre/Film) freelancing with several theater groups in Trivandrum and has performed at prestigious festivals like the International Theatre Festival of Kerala. His movie appearances include Masala Republic, Njan Steve Lopez, Kammatipadam, Appavum Veenjum, Run Kalyani, Cherathukal, B32-44.
He has also acted in a number of short films, music videos, web series now streaming on YouTube and other online streaming platforms.
