Philip Anthony Mair Heald is an American actor known for portraying Hannibal Lecter`s jailer, Dr. Frederick Chilton, in The Silence of the Lambs (1991) and Red Dragon (2002), and for playing assistant principal Scott Guber in David E. Kelley`s TV series Boston Public. Heald also had a recurring role as Judge Cooper on The Practice and Boston Legal. He also featured in the horror film Alone (2020).
