Anthony Shaffer was an English playwright, screenwriter, novelist and barrister. After received his graduation from the Cambridge University, he made his debut in the play The Savage Parade (1963). His various film credits includes Sleuth (2007), The Wicker Man (2006), Appointment With Death (1988) and The Wicker Man (1974). He won the Tony Award for Best Play of the film Sleuth.
