Recipient of the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puruskar 2013-14 by Sangeet Natak Akademi for theatre acting, Anubha (a Gold Medallist in Architecture) started acting in 1996. She received the Sri Shyamal Sen Smriti Puruskar for theatre acting in 2007. She has worked with directors like - Habib Tanveer, Shyamanand Jalan, Rajinder Nath, Alyque Padamsee, Jayant Kripalani, Kunal Padhi, Suman Mukhopadhyay, Vinay Sharma, Vikarm Iyengar, Purva Naresh, John Britton (UK), Wlodzimierz Staniewski (Poland) among others. She trained in theatre acting under Shyamanand Jalan through 2003-10. She continues to learn the craft of acting/theatre-making under Vinay Sharma (2006 onwards). Anubha joined Padatik in 2002 and now is also a part of its Executive Committee. She was actress, core group member with Ranan Performance Collective from 200513. She has designed several theatre spaces.
