Bombay to Goa (1972), Anwar Ali is an Indian film actor and producer, who has predominantly worked in Hindi cinema. Throughout his acting career, he has played all roles from villain to hero to comedian. Since his acting debut in
Sadhu Aur Shaitan (1968), he has acted in various films, including Saat Hindustani (1969), Wafaa (1972), Caravan (1971), Parwana (1971), Bansi Birju (1972), Manzil (1979) and Sabse Bada Rupaiya (1976). Ali turned a producer with the blockbuster hit Khud-Daar (1982) starring Amitabh Bachchan and critically acclaimed Kaash (1987). Anwar is the brother of late legendary comedian Mehmood.
