A horror movie fanatic, director Ari Aster started his career with short films directing and writing the controversial film The Strange Thing About the Johnsons in 2011. Aster made five other short films namely Beau (2011), Munchausen (2013), Basically (2014), The Turtle`s Head (2014), and C`est la Vie (2016). He is making his directorial debut in a full-length feature film with Hereditary (2018). His 2019 release includes the horror film Midsommar.
