An Indian film and theater personality, Arun Nalawade is noted for his work in Marathi cinema. Best remembered for being the producer of the National Film Award-winning feature film, Shwaas (2004). Born and raised in Mumbai, Arun started his acting career as a theater artist and did mostly character roles of aged roles than his real-life age. Some of his most notable film credits include Kaydyacha Bola, Fakira, Aaghaat, Arjun (2011), Mahasatta, Topi Ghala Re, Teecha Baap Tyacha Baap, Anna Hazare, Braveheart, Sandook, Carry On Maratha, Dry Day (2018), a Marathi drama directed by Pandurang Jadhav, Kay Zala Kalana (2018), Fandi (2018), Tu Tithe Asave (2018) and Simmba (2018). Apart from working in theater and feature films, Arun has also worked extensively in the TV industry. Some of his notable credits on the small screen includes Mazhya Navryachi Bayko: Damle nana, Vasudha, Rath Chanderi, Baba, Ghost, Rope Trick, Ushir Hotoy, Surkutya, Fakt 12 Taas and Ajinkya.
