Actor, director, writer, and producer, Arvind Kumar started his career as an actor in 1981 with the movie Akhand Saubhaghyavati, following which he made his directorial debut in 1984 with the Haryanvi movie Chhail Gailyan Jaangi. In 2014, he made his debut as a producer with the Bhojpuri movie Mahabali, following which he produced yet another Bhojpuri movie called Vijay Tilak in the same year. Making his debut as a writer, Arvind wrote the story of the 2014 Rajasthani movie Raju Rathod, which he also acted in. His next venture as a writer came with Pakki Herogiri in 2016 and the following year he produced the Hindi comedy-drama Sallu Ki Shaadi.
