Ashika Somashekar is an Indian actor hailing from bengaluru. She is trained in Bharatnatyam form of dance and fluent in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and English languages. Somashekar holds a bachelors engineering degree in electronics and communication and has also released an ebook titled Putta Meenina Hejjegalu. After working in Kannada theatre, she starred in the English indie feature film A Date (2020). In 2021 she made her debut in Kannada movie Munduvareda Adhyaya.
