A well-known journalist with The Times of India, Ashish Vashi, is based out of Gujarat, and ventured into movies by appearing in the 2016 Gujarati film Passport. Not only this, he was also the co-writer of the 2017 action crime thriller Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan.
