A former member of the renowned Sydney Dance Company and the founder of the Mumbai-based performing arts centre The DanceworX, Ashley Lobo is a Bollywood choreographer. Since his debut in Hindi cinema in the early 2000s, he has choreographed several memorable dance sequences in popular movies like Dhoom (2004), Jab We Met (2007), Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) and Tamasha (2015).

Trained in both classical ballet and various contemporary dance styles, Ashley started out in showbiz by hosting the dance fitness segment on the Star Plus show Good Morning India in the late 1990s. Despite his subsequent success in mainstream Bollywood, the choreographer has continued to be active on television, having served as a judge on the dance reality show India's Dancing Superstar in 2013. Other significant movie credits in recent times include Parched (2015), Raabta (2017), the romantic comedy Jab Harry Met Sejal (2017), Rajma Chawal (2018) and the romantic drama Laila Majnu (2018).
