Ashok Kumar popularly known as Samrat Ashok Kumar, is an accomplished Indian actor, writer, director, producer, and lyricist. Ashok Kumar debuted in Kannada cinema with the action-psychological thriller Hare Rama Hare Krishna (2011), a sensational critical and commercial success. Ashok Kumar has also won too many awards for best director and was also nominated in the Best Director category at the Filmfare Awards (South) and SIIMA Awards.

Ashok Kumar then made Ambassador (2023), for which he also wrote the script. He then directed Galaxy (2023).
