Ashok Mishra is an acclaimed playwright, lyricist and screenwriter. A graduate from National School of Drama (N.S.D.), he has written twelve plays. He is a two time National Film award winner for best screenplay for 'Naseem' (1996) and 'Samar' (1999). He also won the Star Screen Award for best dialogues for 'Welcome to Sajjanpur' (2008).
