Hailing from a small town in the Dakshina Kannada district, Moodbidri, Ashwin Jossy Pereira is an Indian politician associated with the Janata Dal (Secular), an Indian political party that is recognised as the state party in Karnataka and Kerala. Making his debut as a producer, Ashwin produced the Radhika Chetan and Kiran Raj-starrer Kannada family drama Asathoma Sadgamaya in 2018.
