An alumnus of Full Sail University in Florida, Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy holds a degree in recording arts and has received professional training in piano and classical singing. Making his debut, Ashwin composed the music of the American horror thriller The Horrible 4: RESOLUTION in 2014, three years after which, in 2017, he made his Tamil film debut with the Arvind Swamy and Trisha Krishnan-starrer Sathuranga Vettai 2. The same year, he also composed the music of Vijay Balaji's comedy-drama Vidhi Madhi Ultaa, starring Rameez Raja and Janani Iyer in the lead.
