Bollywood writer-director Ashwini Chaudhary started off as an assistant director and worked on 1999 Hindi film Dil Kya Kare. Following year, he turned an independent filmmaker with Laado (2000), which he also wrote. He has also penned down the stories of Hindi films like Dhoop (2003), and Siskiyaan (2005). Some of his recognized works are Good Boy, Bad Boy (2007), and Jodi Breakers (2012). In 2012, Chaudhary made his small-screen debut and directed quite a few serials like Lakhon Mein Ek (2012-2013), Zindagi Khatti Meethi (2015) and Rishton ka chakravyuh (2017). His other projects include a feature film Setters (2019).
