Asif Kapadia is a British director of Indian descent. He made his debut with the film Indian Tales (1994). He then made several award winning films like, The Sheep Thief (1997), The Warrior (2001) and Senna (2010). In 2015 he directed Amy, a documentary based on the life of Amy Winehouse. His 2019 release includes Diego Maradona, directed by Asif Kapadia.
