One of India's most top-notch fashion photographer Atul Kasbekar is best known for his association with the Kingfisher Calendar, having ten such calendars to his credit. A chemical engineering dropout, Atul attended the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, where he studied photography, topping his batch. When in LA, he worked with photographers such as Dennis Gray, James B Wood, Bill Werts, and David Le Bon among a few. Upon his return to Mumbai, he founded his own studio, calling it Negative Space.

Not only does he own a photography studio, he is also the founder of celebrity management company Bling! Entertainment Solutions and Corporate Image, a firm founded to manage the the identities of the top management associates of reputed organisations. At Bling!, Atul has partnered with brands like PepsiCo, Nestle, HUL, ITC, Airtel, Kingfisher, Samsung, P&G, Sony, Swarovski, LG Mobiles, L'Oreal, Marico, Levi Strauss, and Hublot to name a few, while the firm has also briefly worked with Bollywood stars like Deepika Padukone, Farhan Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Deol.

While he has been a part of the entertainment industry since the early 1990s, Atul has also been actively associated with movies by means of working on its publicity stills and still photography. He has movies such as Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, Soldier, Khoobsurat, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Devdas, Chalte Chalte, and Hulchul to his credit. Meanwhile, he made his debut as a producer in 2016 with the biographical drama Neerja, which featured Sonam Kapoor in the lead, playing the role of real-life flight attendant and martyr Neerja Bhanot. His maiden venture as a producer was a big success and garnered critical acclaim. His next project as a producer is the Vidya Balan-starrer Tumhari Sulu, which chronicles the story of an enthusiastic and fun loving housewife who suddenly lands the exciting job of a radio jockey, turning her life upside down.
