Augustine was an Indian film actor who primarily worked in the Malayalam cinema. Best known for his comic and negative roles, he appeared in more than 100 films. Augustine started his career with the movie Swapnalokam (1983). His other notable films include Gandhinagar 2nd Street (1986), Raja Silpi (1992), Natturajavu (2004), Madhya Venal (2009), Sufi Paranja Katha (2010), Bhakthajanangalude Sradhakku (2011), Shutter (2013) and Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty (2013). Augustine passed away in November 2013.
