Winner of the 2011 Miss Malabar beauty pageant title, model and actress Avanthika Mohan is best known for her work in Malayalam cinema. She made her feature film debut with the experimental romantic fantasy movie Yakshi - Faithfully Yours (2012), and has since appeared in the road thriller Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi (2013), the Telugu film Vundhile Manchi Kalam Mundu Munduna (2014), the Kannada romantic drama Preethiyalli Sahaja (2016) and the Tamil feature Rajavin Paarvai Raniyin Pakkam (2018).

In 2019, Avanthika essayed a pivotal role in the Kannada movie Gara, which was directed by K.R. Muralikrishna.
