Avijit Das is a product of Chennai Kalakshetra (Rukmini Devi college of fine arts). He further developed keen interest in Kuchipudi style of dance and started learning initially from Chennai Kuchipudi Art Academy under renowned Kuchipudi Guru Sri Vempati Chinna Satyam and now currently pursuing with the legendary Kuchipudi exponent Smt. Manju Bharggavee in Bangalore. Avijit served as a Dance Teacher at Kalpakkam Dance School for 3yrs (Chennai) and as Visiting Dance Teacher at Akash Ganga Dance Company in Singapore. He has travelled world wide and performed in India and overseas. He is also a regular writer for Narthaki, India magazine in Germany and pool international magazine in India.
