An alumnus of the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, B. Ajithkumar is Indian editor and director who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. Ajithkumar, who has worked with several renowned filmmakers in India, in his illustrious career has won several awards including the National Award for Best Editing in 2009 for Naalu Pennungal and the Kerala State Film Award for Best Editor.

Having made his debut in 1999 with Maanthrika Vena, over the years, B. Ajithkumar has edited more than 25 films and also has edited and directed several documentaries. Some of his notable film credits as an editor includes Pilots (2000), Nizhalkuthu (2002), Bhavam (2008), Oru Naal Varum (2010), Up & Down: Mukalil Oralundu (2013), Pinneyum (2017) and Eeda (2018), which is also his directorial venture.
