B C Gowrishankar was a Kannada film cinematographer, director and storywriter born on February 25, 1950.His debuted with Kannada film, Anuroopa in 1977. Gowrishankar has worked in many films including Roopayi Raja, Ondu Muttina Kathe, Elu Suttina Kote and Apoorva Sangama.Gowrishankar won six Karnataka State Film Awards during his career as a cinematographer.
