One among the most celebrated writers in contemporary Malayalam and Tamil literature, B. Jeyamohan`s repertoire also features a number of award-winning screenplays and several works of literary criticism. Born to Malayali parents in Kanyakumari, he is well-versed in both languages and has published nine novels, several volumes of short stories and literary criticisms in the course of his illustrious career. Some of Jeyamohan`s most well-known works include Vishnupuram, Pani Manidhan and Eazhaam Ulagam; and the writer has been honoured with prestigious literary prizes like Sanskriti Sammaan, Akilan Memorial Prize and Kannadhasan Award.

Jeyamohan`s work as a screenwriter has earned him much praise and many accolades over the years. The period drama Ozhimuri (2012) and the psychological thriller One By Two (2014) are his most notable works in Malayalam cinema. Significant writing credits in Kollywood include critically acclaimed movies like Naan Kadavul (2009), Angadi Theru (2010), Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014), Yemaali (2018), Sarkar (2018) and Rajinikanth`s 2.0 (2018).
