Babbal Rai is a Punjabi singer, songwriter and movie actor, who became a YouTube sensation with his song Australian Challa, which was included in the Bollywood film Crook. He gained popular for his song Nikki Jehi Jind. He has performed many songs like Rangeelay, Kudi tu Pataka, Khoo Te Tindan, and Yaar jatt de. He has also starred in films such as Mr & Mrs 420, and Dildariyaan. He was the playback singer for the 2017 Punjabi film Sargi, in which he starred too. His 2020 release includes Ik Sandhu Hunda Si, directed by Rakesh Mehta.
