Bala Bhaskar is an Indian violinist, composer and record producer, known for his fusion music. He became the youngest music director in the Malayalam film industry when he composed for the movie Mangalya Pallak at 17. He has performed with many noted musicians and instrumentalists in India and abroad, including Ustad Zakhir Hussain, Sivamani, Louis Banks, Vikku Vinayakram, Hariharan, Mattannoor Sankarankutty, Ranjit Barot, Fazal Qureshi, among others. Making his debut in 2011 with a fusion instrumental album Let it Be, he provided the music for Malayalam film Mr. Fraud (2018).
