Barbara Muschietti is an Argentine film producer and writer, who is best known for being one of the writers on the 2013 horror movie, Mama. Her brother Andy Muschietti and Neil Cross were the other two writers. Barbara also served as the producer for the movie. In 2017 she produced Andy Muschietti`s horror movie, It. The movie is based on legendary writer Stephen King`s horror epic of the same name. Barbara is also serving as a producer on the upcoming TV series, Locke and Key. The show based on the horror comics by Joe Hill is being directed by Andy Muschietti. Her 2019 release includes IT: Chapter Two.
