Basanta Chowdhury was a Bengali and marathi actor.Chaudhury was born on May 5, 1928, Nagpur and died at the age of 68 years on June 20, 2000, Kolkata.He made his debut with the movie Mahaprasthaner Pathe in 1952.Some of his famous films are Bhagaban Shri Krishna Chaitanya, Jadu Bhatta, Andhare Alo,Diba Ratrir Kabya and Devi.
