Basanth Nagar Ravi, also known as Besant Ravi, is an Indian actor and stunt director who works primarily in the South Indian film industry. He is best known for portraying supporting roles with negative shades in Kollywood, and has appeared in popular films like Anniyan (2005), Pokkiri (2007), Singam (2010) and Bairavaa (2017). Ravi has also appeared in a handful of films in other languages, notably the Bollywood films Singham (2011) and Chennai Express (2013). Other notable acting credits include Hanuman Junction (2001), Nalla (2005), Christian Brothers (2011), Tenaliraman (2014) and Sathura Adi - 3500 (2017).
