Ben Vereen is an American actor, dancer, and singer. At the age of 17, he graduated from Manhattan`s High School of Performing Arts. Vereen made his acting debut with the black comedy film Gas-s-s-s (1970). He further appeared in films like Funny Lady (1975), All That Jazz (1979), The Zoo Gang (1985) and Idlewild (2006). His 2014 projects include Top Five and Time Out Of Mind.
