Benj Pasek is an American songwriter who is very popular for his contribution toward musical theatre, films, and television. Benj Pasek graduated from The University of Michigan. He completed his BFA degree in musical theatre. He has also won the American Theatre Wing`s Award which honors the achievements for composers, lyricists, and librettists. Benj Pasek is popularly known to be a part of the duo called Pasek and Paul. Justin Paul is one of the other songwriters who has worked very closely with Benj Pasek and together they have contributed to many films, musical dramas, and television shows. Benj Pasek has written original songs for several television shows. His contribution includes writing songs for Disney channel show Johnny and the Sprites, with songs used in six episodes and for one story in the season`s premiere. His 2019 release includes Disney`s Aladdin.
