EARLY LIFE:
Benjamin Gilani is a well-known Indian film, television and theater actor. He graduated from FTII (Film and Television Institute of India) Pune 1972 along with batch mates Naseeruddin Shah and Tom Alter. Prior to FTII he studied and taught at St. Stephens College, Delhi. Motley Productions a Mumbai based theater-production was founded by Benjamin and his batch mates in 1977.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
Gilani has acted in many Indian Movies as well as TV Shows since 1974. His debut movie was Alaap (1977). He is well known for his roles in Hum Dum (2005), 8 x 10 Tasveer, Barah Aana (2009), Jai HO! Democracy (2015) and the recent hit Bajirao Mastani (2015). He was last seen in BHK [email protected] (2015). He will soon be seen in his upcoming film Cute Kameena which is slated to release in March, 2016.
