Bernardo Bertolucci is an Italian film director and screenwriter. He directed his first feature film La Commare Secca in 1962, and has directed more than 20 films. Some of the famous movies he has directed include Me and You, Stealing Beauty and The Sheltering Sky. Bertolucci also wrote Besieged, Little Buddha and 1900. Bertolucci won an Oscar for Best Director for his movie, The Last Emperor in 1988. He has won more than 40 awards.
