Having started his career in the year 2000 with Goppinti Alludu, Ravi Kumar Bhaskarabhatla has over 300 songs to his credit as a lyricist in the Telugu film industry. Over the years Ravi has penned down the lyrics for songs from movies like Andhrawala (2004), Mass (2004), Pokiri (2006), Chirutha (2007), Jalsa (2008), Billa (2009), Yemaindi Ee Vela (2010), Aha Naa Pellanta (2011), Seema Tapakai (2011), Dookudu (2011), Gabbar Singh (2012), Mem Vayasuku Vacham (2012), Baadshah (2013), Balupu (2013), Venkatadri Express (2013), Ra Ra Krishnayya (2014), Pilla Nuvvuleni Jeevitham (2014), Cinema Choopistha Maava (2015), Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (2015), Nenu..Shailaja (2016), Naannaku Prematho... (2016), Jo Achyutananda (2016), Katamarayudu (2017), Guru (2017), Ninnu Kori (2017), Paisa Vasool (2017) and Veedevadu (2017). Bhaskarabhatla won the SIIMA Award for Best Lyricist for the 2012 movie Business Man. He has also won the Santosham Film Awards twice- in 2006 for Bommarillu and in 2008 for Neninthe. In 2018 Bhaskarabhatla served as the lyricist on director Venky Kudumula's action-comedy, Chalo.
