Inclined towards socio-political films, Bidita Bag is an Indian model and film actress, who debuted with the 2011 Bengali movie Mukti, and has worked across Hindi, Assamese and Oriya language movies in her short career span. She plays a college student in Icche, a small town girl in director Prateek Chakravorty`s From Sydney with Love, a local guide in the Assamese film Ekhon Nedekha Nodir Xhipare, and that of Janha in the Odia movie Bhaunri - The Sinking Reality. Bidita`s 2017 venture as a lead actress includes the action thriller film Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, under the direction of Kushan Nandy, starring opposite actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. In 2018, she appeared alongside Kiran Kumar and Zakir Hussain in Shamshad Pathan`s Hindi suspense thriller Page 16. His 2019 release includes Gun Pe Done. Her other releases include Bhaukaal (2020), Abhay (2020), The Missing Stone (2020) and Fauji Calling (2021).
