Billy Crudup is an American stage and film actor popularly known for his roles in the movies such as Without Limits (1998), and Dedication (2007). He has also essayed supporting roles in the movies Mission: Impossible III (2006), Watchmen (2009), Public Enemies (2009), and Spotlight (2015). Crudup is also a notable stage actor and has mostly appeared on Broadway; winning the Tony Award for his performance in the play The Coast of Utopia (2007). His 2017 release includes the movie Alien: Covenant directed by Ridley Scott.
