A veteran technician in the field of animated films, Binayak Das has directed over a hundred television episodes and been associated with top studios like Green Gold Animation and DQ Entertainment in a career spanning over two decades. He has co-directed the first and second animated features in the Chhota Bheem franchise, besides popular tv movies like Chhota Bheem & Krishna, Mission Mangalyaan and Master of Shaolin. In 2019, Binayak helmed the animated adventure comedy Chhota Bheem: Kung Fu Dhamaka.
